The City of Tallahassee works hard to find innovative solutions to local problems. Below are just a few of the things we're doing to help our city.
The FAMU Way Extension Project will create a new east-west roadway between the current end of FAMU Way at Wahnish Way and Lake Bradford Road and includes enhancements to the existing FAMU Way corridor. The project will be completed in three phases. Phase one began in April 2014 and is expected to be completed by 2016.
Substation 12 Reliability Project
This project will provide increased reliability to the current system and will provide power to Substation 12 if a storm or other event impacts the current transmission feed.
