The Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Affairs operates many community centers throughout the City. Each of these centers offers a wide array of daily activities for youth and adults, from athletics to homework to cooking. The vast number of classes and events at these centers brightens each neighborhood, and we are sure you will find something that sparks your interest.
Just because "Old Man Winter" is here - that shouldn't make you pack up your swimsuit until the spring! The Aquatics Division still has some pools that are open year-round, thanks to some pretty fancy technology. Keep working on that stroke...even if you have to get here wearing your winter coat.
