Fall Youth and Adults Sports Registration Now Open

Have a ball this fall by registering for a team sport through the City of Tallahassee! Joining a team sport not only helps bolster confidence but helps foster connections and camaraderie as well. Get active this fall by participating in the City’s youth or adult programs. Registration is open at Talgov.com/Parks.
Due to the ongoing nature of COVID-19, all indoor sports (volleyball this fall) will require facemasks to enter the facility. Players are allowed to take their mask off while actively playing but must wear a facemask while on the sideline. All spectators and coaches will be required to wear facemasks the entire time.
Youth Sports Programs
Cheerleading – It's time to show your team spirit! This program is available for pee wee (4-8 years old) and junior (8-13 years old). Practice is scheduled to start the week of August 28. All games will begin the week of September 25. Registration for cheerleading closes on Wednesday, August 18. The cost is $31 on or before August 18, and $41 after August 18 for late registration on a space available basis.
Tackle Football – Grab your helmet and cleats, this fall program is available for pee wee (8-9 years old), intermediate (10-11 years old) and junior (11-13 years old). Players must register within the zone in which they reside. Practice is scheduled to start the week of August 30. All games will be played on Saturday beginning the week of September 25. Registration for tackle football closes on Wednesday, August 18. The cost is $72 on or before August 18, and $82 after August 18 for late registration on a space available basis.
Flag Football – Touchdown! This program is offered for players age 4-17. Practice will begin the week of August 28. The season will begin on September 25. Game times and schedules will be announced at a future date. Registration for flag football closes on Wednesday, August 18. The cost is $41 on or before August 18, and $51 after August 18 for late registration on a space available basis.
Girls Volleyball – Gather your friends and meet at the net. Practice will begin the week of August 30 and the season will begin on September 27. This program is offered for players age 8-17. The cost per player for is $41 before August 18 and $51 after August 18 based on availability.
There is a New Volleyball Program, called Lil Aces, being offered for girls 6-7 years old. The program consists of six Saturdays with two options of session times to choose from. Registration for girls volleyball closes on Wednesday, August 18. The cost is $30 on or before August 18.
Softball – Live, love, pitch! This program is offered for the following groups: Lead Off League (8-10 years old), Junior League (11-13 years old) and Senior League (14-18 years old). The cost per player is $65. Registration ends August 13.
Baseball – Get your glove and head to the outfield! This program is offered for the following groups: Advanced Play League (7-8, 9-10, 11-12 years old), Little Major League (11-12 years old), Junior Major League (13-14 years old) and Senior Major League (15-19 years old).
The cost for players in the Little Major League is $70, Advanced Play League is $75, Junior Major League is $80 and Senior Major League is $95. Registration for baseball closes on Friday, August 20.
Adult Sports Programs
Flag Football – This program offers the following league options: Men, Women and Coed. At least four teams must register to form a league. Games are played once a week on weekday evenings at the Messer South complex. The fee per team is $563. Registration for flag football closes on Wednesday, August 25.
Softball – This program offers the following league options: Men, Men’s Church, Senior (players must be over the age of 50), Women and Coed. There must be a minimum of four teams registered to make a league. Games will be played at the Tom Brown Park Softball Complex. The fee per team is $415. Registration for softball closes on Wednesday, August 18.
