Officers Make Animal Cruelty Arrest

The Tallahassee Police Department has made an arrest during an investigation regarding animal cruelty occurring on August 15, 2017 at 2018 Sheridan Drive. Officers received a complaint about a dog being abused and treated in a cruel manner. Investigators, assisted by Tallahassee Animal Control, conducted interviews and reviewed evidence which lead to the arrest of Donte Francis for animal cruelty.
TPD wants to thank the witnesses who provided assistance during this investigation. The dog is currently in the care of the City of Tallahassee Animal Shelter.
