TPD Makes Arrest for Keith Street Homicide (Update)

The Tallahassee Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit has made an arrest in connection to the homicide which occurred on Keith Street. On April 28, 2019, officers responded to the area of Keith Street and Kissimmee Street to discover a vehicle crashed into a utility pole. The occupant of the vehicle was found deceased with multiple gunshot wounds. After a thorough investigation, probable cause was established to arrest Antwan Wilson. Mr. Wilson was transported to the Leon County Detention Facility for processing.

Antwan L. Wilson Age 29
Charges:
Homicide-Willful Kill/Murder While Engaged in Certain Felony Offense pursuant to Florida Statute 782.04(1)(a)2.
Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon pursuant to Florida Statute 790.23(1)(a).
Original Press Release: TPD Investigates Death on Keith Street, 4/28/19 8:57 a.m.
The Tallahassee Police Department is currently investigating a death that occurred on Keith Street near the intersection of Kissimmee Street. At approximately 6:18 a.m. officers arrived on scene to find a vehicle crashed into a utility pole and person inside the vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Sadly, the occupant of the vehicle succumbed to their injuries.
This case has been assigned to investigators with TPD's Violent Crimes Unit. At this time they are interviewing all known witnesses and processing the scene. This is currently an active investigation and TPD will provide updates when they are available.
