TPD Investigates Traffic Crash on Old St. Augustine Road

The Tallahassee Police Department is currently investigating a single vehicle crash which occurred near the 2000 block of Old St. Augustine Road. Sadly, the driver succumbed to their injuries.

Traffic Homicide Investigators have been called to the scene to continue the investigation. Currently the entrance and exit to 2001 Old St Augustine (Augustine Club Apartments) is shut down. Both east and west bound lanes on Old St. Augustine Road are closed from Blairstone Road to Paul Russell Road. Motorist are urged to avoid the area and take alternate routes.

TPD is asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash, but did not speak with an officer on scene, or anyone with information about the accident to please call (850) 891-4200 and ask to speak with the Traffic Homicide Unit. They may also remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.

This is an active investigation and TPD will provide updates when they are available.

It should be noted that due to "Marsy's Law", TPD is limited in the amount of information we are allowed to provide. As a result, all victim information that could be used to locate or harass the victim or the victim's family will be redacted.
