Multiple Arrests Follow Operation Addressing Community Concerns

On Wednesday, Sept. 23, the Tallahassee Police Department performed operations focused on prostitution in the Frenchtown Community. This effort, which aimed to deter crime and enhance safety, was initiated following complaints from area residents.
Thanks to diligent work by members of the Special Investigations Section, in conjunction with the Violent Crimes Response Team and Prisoner Transport Unit, the operations resulted in the arrest of four people for solicitation of prostitution. One arrestee was also charged with possession of 13 grams of methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Joe Gavin Jr., 40, for solicitation of prostitution
Dante Williams, 25, for possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, solicitation of prostitution, carrying a concealed firearm
Harold Williams Jr., 49, for solicitation of prostitution
David M. Boydston, 34, for solicitation of prostitution
