Online Kennel
The Tallahassee-Leon Community Animal Service Center has a large number of animals just waiting for adoption. And we receive new "adoptees" every day, so add our website to your "favorites" list and visit us often.
- HART Program
Healthy dogs are available through our Heartworm Assistance Rehabilitation Training program.
- Adoptable Foster Pets
Not all of our furry friends are at the shelter. Check out the album of our
foster pets on Facebook.
Step 1
To view animals currently available, click on the image link for the type of animal in which you are interested. Be sure to write down that animal's ID number for future reference:
Step 2
If you wish, print out the adoption application (PDF) and fill it out now. This will help speed the adoption process. You may also want to look through additional information on adopting a pet.
Step 3
Since every animal has a unique personality, the brief descriptions and photos you see here will only give you a glimpse of what an animal is like. Bring the identification number with you to the Animal Service Center to meet the animal in person. The Animal Service Center is located at 1125 Easterwood Drive (off Capital Circle near the entrance to Tom Brown Park).
While we make every effort to keep the information in these pages current, there is always the chance that an animal listed here may already be adopted when you arrive at the center. Please keep in mind that we care for over 5,000 companion animals each year. Your patience and persistence in adopting from the center will result in a lifetime of love and commitment you won't regret.
