Two Arrested Following Gas Station Shooting

On June 17, just before 4 a.m., the Tallahassee Police Department responded to a shooting at the Circle K gas station, located at 2683 North Monroe Street. When officers arrived on scene, they located one victim, an adult male, suffering from serious injuries.
Following a thorough investigation, it was determined the suspect was in a verbal altercation with another person at the location before the shooting occurred. The victim was an innocent bystander.
Within hours of the shooting, investigators identified two suspects. After consultation with the State Attorney's Office, warrants were approved for the arrests of the two suspects on charges ranging from accessory after the fact to attempted homicide.

Arrested:
Booker Flowers Jr., 21, for attempted homicide and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Robert Mathis, 29, for accessory after the fact of an attempted homicide and accessory after the fact of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
