Join us at City Hall for an Open House
October 21, 2019
As part of Florida City Government Week, the City of Tallahassee invites residents to City Hall for an open house on Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 4-6 p.m. With refreshments, entertainment and giveaways planned, it is sure to be both informative and fun.
“Connecting with citizens and celebrating the many things that make us all proud to call Tallahassee home is what City Government Week is all about,” Mayor John Dailey said. “We are inviting everyone to join us at City Hall to learn about some of the many services and programs provided by the City and designed to enhance the quality of life for residents.”
Attendees can talk one-on-one with City employees from a wide range of departments and divisions. Want to learn more about the Weems Road project, plans for the international passenger processing facility at the airport or ways to save money on your utility bill? Do you have questions about public safety, community beautification, StarMetro, code enforcement or youth sports registration, just to name a few? This event creates a one-stop shop for residents to ask questions and learn about the breadth and depth of the City’s best-in-class services and programs.
The City is the largest single provider of municipal services in our community, including police, fire, public transportation, electric, gas, water, parks and more. Employees pride themselves on providing exceptional customer service, while also exploring ways to increase efficiencies and create a strong, vibrant community.
Florida City Government Week is an initiative led by the Florida League of Cities. It is designed to showcase the high level of service city governments provide to citizens and celebrate its impact on enhancing the quality of life in the community.
City Hall is located at 300 S. Adams Street. Parking is available at Kleman Plaza. (Bring your parking ticket in with you to have it validated.) For additional information, call 850-891-8533.
