At-Home Water Quality Testing Instructions

To ensure safe, high-quality drinking water is delivered to customers, the City of Tallahassee maintains a vast water distribution system and operates a state-of-the-art Water Quality Laboratory. In total, this nationally accredited facility processes 8,000 to 10,000 samples annually.

In addition to conducting proactive water sampling throughout the water distribution system, the City provides a free At-Home Water Quality Test upon request and step-by-step instructions to help customers gather more information about their home plumbing and water quality.
