Ridge Haven Road Fire Response

On December 26, at 6:01 p.m., the Tallahassee Fire Department (TFD) was dispatched to a possible structure fire located in the 4100 block of Ridge Haven Road. The fire was reportedly coming from a vehicle in the garage.

TFD arrived on scene in less than five minutes to find a single-story structure with heavy smoke coming from the garage. TFD personnel quickly made an attack and extinguished the fire. They checked for possible fire spread throughout the structure and attic. TFD determined that the fire had been stopped from spreading throughout the structure or into the attic.

A search was done of the residence, and it was determined that all occupants were out of the home.

TFD was assisted on scene by the Tallahassee Police Department and Leon County EMS. The Red Cross was called to the scene to assist the residents.
