TFD Responds to Mobile Home Fire on Caribou Lane

Last night around 11 p.m., June 11, the Tallahassee Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 5600 block of Caribou Lane. Crews arrived to find mobile home that was fully engulfed in flames.

The two residents escaped with injuries. They were treated and transported to the hospital by Leon County EMS. The family pet perished in the fire.

TFD crews extinguished the fire with assistance on scene from local law enforcement and utilities. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
