Celebrate America

Get in the patriotic spirit and head to Tom Brown Park this Fourth of July for the City of Tallahassee's Celebrate America event. There will be food trucks and activities for children at the event. Attendees are also welcome to pack a picnic. Beer will be available for sale to those 21 and older with a valid ID.

StarMetro Free Shuttle Route

Since there is limited parking within the park, StarMetro, the City's public transportation department, will provide free shuttle service for the event, picking riders up in the parking lot at the former Sears, 1500 Apalachee Parkway. Dial-A-Ride will be available on the same shuttle route. Shuttle service to Tom Brown Park begins at 6 p.m. and will end at 8:30 p.m. Shuttles will begin running for return service from Tom Brown Park to the former Sears parking lot following the fireworks show with service ending around 11 p.m. Shuttle service will not be operational during the fireworks show. For handicap parking within the park, be sure to bring your placard and check with a parking attendant upon arrival at Tom Brown Park for assistance.

To help ensure safety for all, pedestrian traffic into the park will be limited. Attendees are encouraged to use the free shuttle service. Vehicular traffic on Conner Blvd. will be limited beginning at noon on July 4 to allow for safe fireworks setup.
