Hop Over for Family Fun at Movies in the Moonlight

City to Host Free Event on April 11

The City of Tallahassee invites you to go wild at a special edition of Movies in the Moonlight! “Zootopia 2” will hop onto the big screen for a free, family-friendly event on Saturday, April 11, at Cascades Park.

The fun begins at 6 p.m. at the Adderley Amphitheater with games and activities for all ages. Kids are encouraged to dress as their favorite character from Zootopia! From paws-itively fun experiences for kids to opportunities for the whole family to play, there’s something for everyone to enjoy before the movie rolls at 8 p.m. 

In “Zootopia 2”, a PG-rated film, officers Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are back on the case, but this time, the stakes are bigger and more complicated than ever. When a mysterious scaly newcomer shakes up the city, the duo is pulled into a twisting investigation that takes them into unfamiliar parts of Zootopia and challenges their partnership along the way.

Food trucks will be on-site, serving up delicious bites, snacks and sweet treats for purchase. Complimentary popcorn will also be available while supplies last. Seats in the Adderley Amphitheater are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees can also bring a blanket and watch the movie from the grass at the back of the amphitheater.
