City Commission to hold Annual Retreat
January 05, 2022
The Tallahassee City Commission will hold its annual retreat on Wednesday, Jan. 12. The retreat will take place at the City of Tallahassee Electric & Gas Logistics Facility, 2601 Jackson Bluff Road, and will begin at 10 a.m.
At the retreat, the Mayor and City Commissioners will review and discuss progress toward strategic objectives and provide focus for the year ahead. The five-year Strategic Plan, approved by the City Commission and implemented in 2020, outlines seven priority areas: Economic Development, Impact on Poverty, Organizational Effectiveness, Public Infrastructure, Public Safety, Public Trust and Quality of Life.
The retreat agenda and details about how to share public comment are available at Talgov.com/Agenda. Citizens are strongly encouraged to use the virtual participation option to help protect community health.
The retreat will stream live on the City's government-access television channel, WCOT (Comcast and CenturyLink channel 13), as well as online at Talgov.com, Facebook.com/CityofTLH and Twitter.com/CityofTLH.
Participating virtually is the safest option for the wellbeing of the community; for those choosing to attend in person, masks will be required to be worn. Capacity will be limited to allow adequate room for physical distancing.
