20 Arrested in a Tallahassee Police Department Joint Operation Targeting Online Child Predators

March 12, 2026

A total of 20 individuals have been arrested following “Operation Safe Harvest,” an operation aimed at identifying and arresting individuals who use the internet to prey on children. The operation was conducted by the Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) and supported by multiple agency partners including the Leon County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO), Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), United States Marshals Service, Protecting Children’s Innocence Task Force, and North Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

“Operation Safe Harvest” focused on identifying and apprehending individuals who use online platforms to target and exploit children. Investigators from participating agencies conducted coordinated enforcement efforts, including undercover operations, to identify suspects attempting to engage in illegal activity with minors. Through these efforts, investigators were able to intervene before harm could occur and hold offenders accountable.

“Our priority is protecting children and ensuring those who seek to exploit them are held accountable,” said Chief Lawrence Revell of the Tallahassee Police Department. “Operations like this demonstrate the commitment of law enforcement at every level to work together, identify those who prey on children online, and take action to protect our community.”

These arrests reflect the continued efforts of local, state, and federal partners to combat online child exploitation. Law enforcement encourages parents and guardians to remain engaged in their children’s online activity and reminds the community that reporting suspicious behavior plays an important role in protecting children.

“Those who attempt to exploit children online should know that law enforcement is actively working to find them,” said Leon County Sheriff Walt McNeil. “Through strong partnerships and proactive enforcement, we will continue doing everything possible to protect children and hold offenders accountable.”

“We’re proud to serve on a task force that not only understands the importance of protecting our children but is committed to delivering real results,” said FDLE Deputy Commissioner Vaden Pollard. “Because of the strong partnerships behind operations like this, these offenders will never again have the opportunity to harm children in our communities. We will continue to do everything we can to protect the most vulnerable.”

“Online anonymity does not protect those who harm and exploit children,” said FBI Jacksonville Special Agent in Charge Jason Carley. “Let me be clear: adults who target children online are predators. The FBI works closely with our law enforcement partners every day to identify these offenders and hold them accountable. Our mission is simple—stop predators before they exploit children.”

“Protecting Children’s Innocence Task Force was proud to support the agencies involved in Operation Safe Harvest by helping provide resources that strengthen ongoing efforts to protect children and hold offenders accountable. PCITF remains committed to standing alongside the professionals working every day to keep our communities safe,” said Katie Yaryan, National Director of Operations for PCITF | ATP Ministries.
