Tallahassee International Airport Hosts Full-scale Emergency Exercise

What:
Tallahassee International Airport (TLH) is hosting a full-scale emergency exercise including a mock disaster to engage City departments, partners and community volunteers in critical preparedness efforts.

When:
Thursday, February 16 - 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. with mandatory safety briefing at 8:15 a.m.

Where:
Tallahassee International Airport - Compass Pointe Hangar, 3256 Capital Cir. SW, adjacent to TLH Gate 29

Details:
On Thursday, Feb. 16, Tallahassee International Airport will conduct a full-scale emergency exercise. Conducted every three years, this exercise is a critical part of our community’s disaster preparedness efforts and includes key City departments and community partners. Dozens of registered volunteers will participate in the mock disaster as "victims" of a major aircraft incident or their friends/family members. Please note, this event is not open to the public. Media is invited to attend.
