Tallahassee Police Make Second Arrest in Stuckey Avenue Shooting

Today, Jan. 31, the Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) arrested Khalil Ogilvie, in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on Jan. 26 in the 1200 block of Stuckey Avenue.
Following a swift and thorough investigation by TPD's Violent Crimes Unit, it was determined the shooting resulted from an illegal drug sale. Ogilvie approached the passenger side where the victim, an adult female, was sitting and produced a handgun in an attempt to rob the victim and the driver, Precious Charlton. The victim grappled with Ogilvie over the handgun, and the gun went off striking and killing her.
Charlton drove the victim to a local hospital where life-saving measures were attempted. Sadly, she succumbed to her injuries.
Charlton was subsequently arrested on Jan. 29 and charged with third degree felony murder and possession of narcotics with intent to sell for her involvement.
