I am a spayed female, American Staffordshire Terrier mix.
The shelter staff think I am 4 years old.
I have been at the shelter since October 3, 2020. I am currently being housed with a foster caregiver. For more information about how to adopt this animal or to become a foster home for an animal in need, please contact our foster coordinator at FosterPets@talgov.com. More information about our foster program can be found at http://www.talgov.com/animals/asc-foster.aspx. I am available for adoption now!
A167706 Lizzo loves everything. She loves walks. She loves toys (a bit too much). She loves snuggling in bed with her human. She loves treats. She loves routine. She loves learning new tricks. She loves playing and puzzles. Lizzo loves people and very few dogs (she'd like to be an only child - although she can ignore other dogs on walks.) Lizzo really loves cats, but not in the good way - so we're going to step in here and ask that her new home not have any kitties or small animals.
Lizzo has been with us so long that we could write a BOOK about this peanut. This 50 (petite lb), 4 year old pittie is so incredibly full of joy - it's rather astounding that she hasn't found a home yet. We're so happy and grateful that she is now in a foster home while she waits for her forever to come along. She is reportedly the BEST houseguest (respectful, quiet housebroken) and is just looking for a family that wants an energetic goofball to be the center of their world.
