Arrests Made in Weekend Shooting on Pasco Street

Just after 11:30 p.m. on Saturday night, July 11, TPD responded to the apartments at 1810 Pasco Street to investigate a shooting. Arriving officers discovered the adult male victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
The victim told officers he was walking through the parking lot of the complex when he was shot by the suspect without provocation. Officers made contact with the suspect and took him into custody.
As the investigation continued into the whereabouts of the firearm, it led to a nearby apartment. The occupant of the apartment claimed no knowledge of the gun’s whereabouts.
Investigators applied for and obtained a search warrant for the premises. The firearm was located, and the occupant was charged with his role in concealing the evidence, as well as violations of probation.
Arrested
Michael B. O’Day, 41. Charges: Aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and possession of firearm by a convicted felon.
Jaime Lee, 26. Charges: Tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, possession of amphetamine (violation of probation), and aggravated assault with a firearm (violation of probation).
