Electronic Waste Pickup
What should you do with electronics?
- Residential customers - Electronics should be placed at the curb on you regular day of of garbage service. Items are picked up on Thursdays. You may also call 891.4YOU (4968) to request a pickup for Thursday's collection.
Electronics are delivered to the Leon County Solid Waste Management Facility for proper recycling and disposal. E-waste is also accepted at the semi-annual Cash for Trash events in April and October. Working electronics can be donated to Goodwill Services.
- Commercial customers - Electronics are not collected by the Solid Waste Services Department. For information on electronics and other hazardous waste recycling and disposal, call the Leon County Electronics Recycling Program at 606.1802 located at the Leon County Solid Waste Management Facility, 7550 Apalachee Parkway.
