Commercial Services
The
city offers separate commercial collection services for garbage, bulky items, construction
and demolition (C&D) debris,
and recycling. For recycling, the only materials collected at this time are
mixed office paper and corrugated cardboard. Hazardous
Waste, including electronics, cannot be
collected by Solid Waste Services. For information on electronics and other
hazardous waste recycling and disposal, call the Leon County Hazardous Waste
Division at 606-1803
or the Leon
County Electronics Recycling Program at 606-1823.

The cost for service depends on:
- Type of container you have leased or purchased
- Size of container
- Material to be placed in the container

Minimum charge $33.75 (this is a timed rate & does not include travel time)

- Disposal Fees
- Yard waste, bulky items, construction & demolition debris - $36.00 per ton
- Any of the above mixed with household garbage - $100.00 per ton
- Tires - $5.00 per tire
- White Goods - $5.00 per item
