Solid Waste Pickup Information

Garbage and recycling containers can be placed at the curb (no earlier than) the day before your scheduled pickup and need to be returned to the storage area near your home no later than the day following your service. Bulky items and yard waste should be placed at the curb no sooner than the weekend before your red/blue week pickup date. Electronics should be placed at the curb on your residential garbage service day and will be picked up the next Thursday.

What does red/blue week mean? The City of Tallahassee Solid Waste Services picks up bulky items and yard waste on the same day every other week. Depending on where you live, your route will be on either a red week or blue week. Holiday Schedules
