Prior to completing the online reporting please review and check all boxes that apply. ALL conditions must be met to file reports online.

This is NOT an Emergency.

The incident you are reporting occurred within the Tallahassee City limits.

The Suspect of the reported incident is not present or on scene. If this is an incident in which the suspect is on scene, you will need to contact the Tallahassee Department at (850)891-4200 to report this incident.

You are NOT and CANNOT report the theft of a motor vehicle, lost/stolen license plate (tag), or lost/stolen tag decal. You will need to contact the Tallahassee Police Department as soon as possible by calling (850) 891-4200.

The incident or offense you are reporting DOES NOT involve any firearm or gun. If the incident or offense you are reporting involved any usage, possession, theft, discharge, or display of a firearm or gun, you will need to contact the Tallahassee Police Department at (850) 891-4200.

You are 18 years or older.

Confirmation: By checking this box, I am confirming that the above statements are true to the best of my knowledge and that I understand it is a crime to make a false or fraudulent police report pursuant Florida Statute 837.05. If all of the above statements apply to your case and you acknowledge its a crime to file a false report (box above must be checked), then you are ready to file your report online.

Upon completion of this report process you will:

  • See the words: "Your online police report has been submitted" showing that your police report is complete.
  • Be given a TEMPORARY police report case number, until the report is approved by the administrator and the permanent case number is assigned.
  • Be able to print a copy of the police report to keep for your records.
