Becoming a Civilian Employee
The Tallahassee Police Department offers two types of civilian employment, full time and temporary.
All part-time and temporary positions at the Tallahassee Police Department are without benefits and leave time. The positions are mainly clerical-type work. If you are interested in a part-time or temporary position, please contact the Employee Resources Office at (850) 891-4324. All applications will be kept on file for a period of 60 days and all applicants on file that qualify will be taken into consideration for each part-time and temporary job that comes available.
No applications for full-time positions are accepted at the Tallahassee Police Department. Applications for full-time employment opportunities are accepted for current vacancies only.
