The Cornerstone Fund
You are cordially invited to celebrate with us the $50,000 Endowment Fund Raising in conjunction with TSC's 30th Anniversary - September 9 at 6 pm to the Tallahassee Senior Foundation.
Festivities will be from 5:00 - 8:00pm, with entertainment provided by Q 106.1 Tallahassee's Greatest Hits. Evening Sponsor ~ The Oak Tree Foundation.
All contributions are tax deductible; please give generously.
As of mid June, $38,000 had been donated to the Cornerstone Endowment Fund in honor of Senior Services director Sheila Salyer's 50th birthday. Board members are challenged to raise the remaining $12,000 of the $50,000 goal by the center's 30th birthday celebration on September 9. Foundation members, business partners, senior center participants and others began the quest to build the endowment fund on Salyer's birthday earlier this year. The endowment was established to ensure senior programming in the Tallahassee area for the next generation. Now in its third decade, the center sees the baton passing and the Foundation seeks an assurance that the future offers adequate funding for social engagement, health and wellness programs and recreational opportunity for our senior adults. Your contribution makes a difference.
