Marathon Gunman Arrested

The Tallahassee Police Department has made an arrest during an investigation regarding an aggravated assault with a firearm. The incident occurred on August 16, 2017 at 1603 West Tharpe Street, the Marathon Gas Station. The Consolidated Dispatch Agency received a call about a male pointing a firearm at two people near the gas pumps during an argument. The responding officers conducted a thorough investigation, establishing probable cause for the arrest of Brey'on J. Ashley. Mr. Ashley was arrested for pointing his gun at the victims and threatening to kill them. TPD was able to locate the gun and impound it as evidence. Mr. Ashley was transported to the Leon County Jail for processing.
