Arrest Made at Coliseum
August 07, 2017
The Tallahassee Police Department made an arrest on Saturday, August 5, 2017 regarding a firearms incident occurring at 1833 West Tennessee Street at the Coliseum nightclub. Officers working a security detail in the parking lot were flagged down by a citizen who described a black male "flashing around two (2) guns." As officers walked toward the suspect, they saw him holding a gun as he got into a vehicle and attempted to leave the area.
Recognizing the dangerous behavior presented by the suspect and the potential threat to others, the officers stopped the vehicle and detained the suspect, Adrienne Debose. He was arrested on scene after a comprehensive investigation by officers in which they located two loaded 9mm handguns, crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia. One of the handguns had been reported stolen to TPD earlier in the year.
The investigation revealed Mr. Debose is a Florida Convicted Felon and could not legally possess the firearms. Officers transported Mr. Debose to the Leon County Jail for processing and confiscated the handguns.
The probable cause affidavit for the suspect is attached to this press release for further details (PDF).
