Violent Crimes Unit Arrests Jeremy Holsey

Due to an intense and thorough investigation completed by the Tallahassee Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit and with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Task Force, Jeremy Holsey, has been arrested in several cases involving robbery with a firearm and multiple other charges. Please see below for a brief explanation of each case:
- TPD's Violent Crimes Unit began investigating a robbery at 109 South Copeland Street on February 20, 2017. In this case, the victim was attempting to sell his iPhone using Craigslist and met with Mr. Holsey who grabbed the cell phone and ran from the area.
- On June 09, 2017, TPD officers were called to the El Jalisco Restaurant. In this case, Mr. Holsey met with a male regarding a Craigslist sale of a cell phone. Mr. Holsey pointed a gun at the victim and forcibly took the cell phone before fleeing the scene.
- On June 16, 2017, officers responded to a robbery occurring at 1141 Richardson Avenue. The victims in this incident were held at gunpoint inside their home and tied up by Mr. Holsey and another unnamed suspect while items were stolen from their home including their vehicle.
- On July 10, 2017, a robbery was reported at 1600 Pullen Road when the victim attempted to sell his computer item through Craigslist. Mr. Holsey forcibly took the items from the victim again using a gun.
After reviewing all the evidence and employing hours of investigative research, TPD was able to develop information which eventually led to the arrest of Jeremy Holsey. Due to the exhaustive work of the investigators, the Tallahassee Police Department was able to close four (4) robbery cases occurring recently in the community. Further charges are pending. - 2 counts Kidnapping pursuant to Florida Statute 787.01(1)(a)2
- 3 counts Grand Theft pursuant to Florida Statute 812.014(2)(c)1
- 2 counts Violation of Probation pursuant to Florida Statute 948.06
