TPD Investigating Shooting Incident on West Tennessee Street near Appleyard Drive

UPDATE
Due to the quick response of TPD’s Violent Crimes Investigators and the Violent Crimes Response Team, all parties have been identified and an arrest has been made in this case. The investigation revealed Samuel Devenish, Lorenzo Winford and Angel Dornelly went to 475 Appleyard Drive to meet with two individuals, later identified as Daniel Sierra and Ryan Mosley, to trade property using the “Letgo” mobile application.
Mr. Devenish, Mr. Winford and Ms. Donelly were sitting in their vehicle talking with Mr. Mosley about the exchange of the property as Mr. Sierra stood nearby, when an argument ensued. As Mr. Devenish drove away, Mr. Sierra shot into the vehicle multiple times, striking Mr. Winford in the leg, who was sitting in the left rear passenger seat.
Mr. Devenish continued to drive away from the area, eventually locating an ambulance in the 400 block of Tennessee Street. Mr. Winford was given immediate medical care and transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The Tallahassee Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident in which the victim received a non-life threatening wound. The victim flagged down an ambulance at about 7:45 pm this evening as he drove on West Tennessee Street near Appleyard Drive. The exact location the incident occurred is being determined at this time. The victim was given immediate medical treatment before being taken to a local hospital.
TPD officers are currently interviewing all known witnesses and collecting evidence. They are asking anyone with information about the case to call them at (850) 891-4200 or if they choose to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.
