Sexual Offender Arrested
June 30, 2017
Patrol officers with the Tallahassee Police Department regularly check on the city’s population of Sexual Predators and Offenders who are living in our area. Sexual Offenders are required by law to register their address with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. If they move, they only have 48 hours to inform local law enforcement of their new address.
As the rest of the city slept, one TPD patrol officer was checking local businesses to ensure they were secure. As the officer drove by the Bank of America at 2262 North Monroe Street, he noticed a group of people in a heated argument. The officer approached the group and began to investigate all who were involved in the incident. Two (2) of the people involved were immediately identified as Sexual Offenders. One (1) of the men was in compliance with his Sexual Offender status while the other (later identified as David Largay) was determined to be living here without registering for almost two (2) weeks.
Mr. Largay was placed under arrest and first taken to a local hospital due to him having a hard time breathing. Once he was medically cleared he was taken to the Leon County Jail for processing.
Arrested:
David Largay | White Male | DOB: 07/08/66
Please note the probable cause has been redacted per Florida Public Records Law 119.071(2)(e) and 119.071(5)(a).
