Police investigate Robbery on West Tennessee

The Tallahassee Police Department is currently investigating a robbery with one of the victims being shot by the suspect which occurred in the 100 Block of West Tennessee Street. TPD and Emergency responders were called to the area at about 10:50pm last night after a passerby called the Consolidated Dispatch Agency. As they arrived in the area, TPD Patrol Officers and emergency workers located two (2) victims of the robbery, one of them suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The shooting victim was given immediate medical care and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
As more officers arrived in the area, a K-9 track began with a suspect being located at the Greyhound Bus Station. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident. The arresting officers located the gun used in the robbery and shooting in his front pocket.
