Tallahassee Police Athletic League Taking Applications
2017 Youth Basketball and Cheerleading Summer League

The Tallahassee Police Athletic League is continuing to take applications for the 2017 Youth Basketball and Cheerleading Summer League. The Youth Summer Basketball League is for boys between the ages of 10-15 and the girls between the ages of 10-12. The Cheerleading League is for girls between the ages of 8-12.
The TPAL program provides youth the opportunity to grow under the guidance of dedicated adults, assisting them in developing self-esteem and providing skills to help them stay in school. The programs goal is to instill youth with respect and understanding of the role of law enforcement. Additionally, if youth are reached early enough – they can develop strong positive attitudes towards police officers in their journey through life toward the goal of maturity and good citizenship.
The season will run from June 5th to July 28th. All games will be played at Jack McLean Community Center, 700 Paul Russell Road every Monday and Wednesday evening from 6p.m.-9p.m.
The registration fee is $30.00. The registration forms can be downloaded from the new TPAL Website at or you can pick up a copy of the application at the Tallahassee Police Department located at 234 E. Seventh Avenue.
