How You Can Help Protect Our Springs
- Stop using fertilizer on your lawn (or use no phosphorus, slow release nitrogen ones if you must)
- Replace portions of your lawn with native trees and bushes with mulched beds
- Reduce stormwater runoff by using rain barrels, rain gardens, or other Low Impact Development techniques
- Conserve water by mulching plants and installing drip irrigation
- Maintain your septic system or consider upgrading to an advanced system
