Music is in the Air at the Airport
Travelers Entertained with Live Music
June 20, 2013
Tallahassee Regional Airport (TLH) is proud to announce the return of its Summer Music Series. Beginning tomorrow, Friday, June 21, and continuing every Friday through July 26, visitors to TLH will be treated to live music performances in the center concourse of the Ivan Munroe Terminal building from 4 to 6 p.m.
First introduced in 2011, the Summer Music Series offers live entertainment to Airport visitors as a way to enhance the overall customer experience. The program showcases local and regional artists and features a variety of music genres including jazz, country, R&B and blues. In addition to enjoying live music, guests will also be treated to pre/post flight refreshments compliments of Dunkin’ Donuts.
This Friday, the music lineup includes two performances. First up is a brother and sister duo, clarinetist Diego Hernandez and violinist Julia Hernandez. An uplifting, youth-inspiring hip-hop performance from Positive Generation Entertainment’s Lewis Thurston II will follow.
Artists scheduled to perform during the next six weeks include Swarma Vahini with the India Association of Tallahassee and the Shelter Band.
