Apply for CRA Downtown District Large Event Funding

The City of Tallahassee Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is kicking off its Fiscal Year 2017 (FY2017) Downtown District Large Event Grant Cycle. The CRA has $25,000 available to help fund large events being held in Cascades Park or Kleman Plaza. The grant funds will be available to qualified not-for-profit organizations that will host large events between April 15 and September 30. Grant awards will be between $10,000 and $25,000 and require a dollar-for-dollar match.
Applications will be accepted beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 20. The application period will end at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 3, unless extended by the CRA. Program details, including the application, are available online at Talgov.com/CRA or may be picked up in person from the CRA office, located on the fourth floor of City Hall, 300 South Adams Street.
Applications will be reviewed and scored based on a competitive process. The highest scored applications being funded until all grant funds have been awarded.
