Commercial Facade Improvement Program
The Commercial Façade Program provides up to $50,000 in matching money to help improve the facades of commercial structures of buildings located in either the Frenchtown/Southside Community Redevelopment Area or within a portion of the Downtown Community Redevelopment Area. As of June 30, 2008 the Community Redevelopment Agency has funded six façade grants for the locations listed below, that range from a low of $803 to a high of $150,000 for a project on three adjoining lots. The total amount of grant money awarded on these six projects has been $227,017 with the total cost of the projects totaling $802,023.
