Table TennisSenior Adventure Club
1st Thursday, 7:00pm, Meetings and Speakers

Outings- As scheduled
Suggested donation: $2 per meeting
Learn about the outdoors and participate in adventurous, outdoor activities. Group meetings may include a guest speaker, sharing ideas and planning trips. Costs and physical level of the outings vary. New participants always welcome. See Golden Review or daily calendar for current meeting and outings.

Senior Singers: A partnership with Florida State University School of Music
September - April

Tuesday, 1:00 - 2:00pm
Suggested donation: $2 per session
The choir warmly encourages anyone who wants to sing to join. Requirements include a desire to have fun; no prior musical training or experience is necessary. No auditions.

Ping Pong and Table Tennis
Tuesday, 2:00 - 4:00pm
Donations are appreciated.
Casual, informal games. New players always welcome. No pre-registration required.

Billiards
Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 7:00pm

Donations are appreciated.
Billiards is available for participants of all skill levels. Drop in to spend time with friends or meet new acquaintances.

Canasta Group

A group for anyone interested in playing or learning how to play.  All skill levels welcome.

Beginning Ballroom Dance Class
Friday, 5:15 - 6:00pm
Instructor Pauline Hurst teaches the waltz, swing, fox-trot, rumba and tango. Beginners welcome anytime. No registration required. Suggested donation: $3 per class.

Recreation & AdventureSwing Dance Class
Friday, 5:30 - 7:00pm

Taught by Pauline Hurst. Anyone may join at anytime. Suggested donation: $2 per class.

Dancing for Fun Group
Friday, 2:00 - 4:00pm

Informal social dancing to all forms of couple dances. New dancers are always welcome, no partner needed. Suggested donation: $1 per session.

USA Ballroom Dance Association (USABDA)
Saturday, once a month, 7:30 - 10:30pm
Dance Lessons, 6:30pm

This local chapter of a national organization promotes ballroom dancing to either a DJ or live band. Dances are alcohol and smoke-free and include refreshments. Dances with a DJ are $8 for USABDA members and $12 for non-members. Live band dances are $10 for USABDA members and $15 for non-members. You can pay or join at the door. Thursday Night Swing with Coates & Co. Dance Band
2nd Thursday, 7:00 - 9:30pm

Live dance band playing a wide variety of music from swing, ballads, waltz, fox trots, Latin (all types), jump, blues and even a little classic rock and roll. Great live music for dancing. Anyone welcome! Cost is $5 for seniors (55+), all others $7 per person or $12 per couple.

Contra Dance
With the Tallahassee Community Friends of Old Time Dance
2nd Friday, 7:30 - 10:30pm

A family activity involving live music (Irish jigs, fiddle, guitar, flute) and a caller. Moves are similar to Square Dance. Each dance is taught first and then called. Dancing is easy, fun, and energetic. Cost is $3 for seniors, $5 for students, and $7 for adults.

Ballroom Dance Group
Fridays 7:30 - 10:30pm as scheduled

A variety of music is provided for people to dance the typical ballroom dances, as well as country, Latin, West Coast Swing and others. Fees vary between $3 and $5 per dance.

Argentine Tango Society Milanga Dance
3rd Thursday, 7:30 - 9:30pm

The Argentine Tango Society brings cultural enrichment and enjoyment of dance, combined with the passion for its music. This group is for beginners and advanced dancers. A practice session is followed by open dancing. Fee is $3 for Tango Society members and $5 for non-members.

Learn to dance the Tango! Lesson fees: $8 for seniors and $10 for non-seniors.

Capital Round Dance Class
Tuesday, 6:00 - 8:00pm

This workshop teaches experienced dancers Phases IV and V. New students are always welcome. Suggested donation: $4 per couple.

Capital Twirlers
1st, 3rd and 4th Mondays (see Golden Review)

Callers Elmer Sheffield and Jack White call Mainstream and Plus Level Square Dancing. Monthly dues are $7.50. Visitors are always welcome and a donation for the Senior Center is appreciated.

Senior RecreationBridge

Social Bridge: These two bridge groups are small, socially oriented groups and are always looking for new experienced players. Suggested donation: 50 cents per session.

Bridge-A-Dears
Wednesday, 12:30 - 3:00pm
Small social bridge group for experienced players.

Early Bird Bridge
Friday, 9:00pm - 12:00n
Enjoy camaraderie while playing bridge.

Duplicate Bridge Clubs: These games are for competitive bridge players. Games are played under the auspices of the American Contract Bridge League. A director runs the games in which two or more hands are played per round. At the end of the game, a computer prints out the results of how players did compared to other players, and computes the points won. These games are open to all players for a nominal fee to cover expenses. Interested players are invited to join the fun.

Standby partners are present on Monday and Friday. Novice bridge is for the player with 0-199 Master Points. Each session has a 15 minute mini-lesson then two hours of play.

Easy Bridge
Rotating Schedule (Call for times)
Each class builds on the prior class, so beginning participants should join no later than the third class. Social and intermediate players can join anytime. Easy Bridge is taught by the Tallahassee Duplicate Bridge Club. The first four lessons are free, and $3 per lesson thereafter.
