What is the cost to enroll in the vendor self-service system?
The vendor self-service system is free (no cost) to all active City of Tallahassee vendors.
Who qualifies to use the vendor self-service system?
Any vendor who is currently doing business with the City of Tallahassee will qualify for access to the vendor self-service system
Who do I contact for invoice related questions that are not covered in the vendor self-service material?
The primary point of contact for invoice related questions that are not covered in the system should be directed to the Accounts Payable Section via Talgov or via phone at 850-891-8280
Can a vendor be removed from the system?
Yes. Should a vendor be found using the system for the wrong purpose (illegal use), the City reserves the right to remove that vendor from the self-service system
How do I change a remit to address?
Requests to change remit to addresses should be in writing and sent by:
- mail to 300 South Adams Street, A-28 , Tallahassee, Florida 32301
- email via Talgov or
- faxed to 850-891-0977, ATTN: April Showers.
Vendors will not be allowed to change their remit to addresses using the vendor self-service system.
How do I log into the City's Vendor self-service system?
Once your registration has been received, you will receive your password with additional instructions on how to start using the vendor self-service system. Instructions for logging into the vendor self-service system are located on our Training page.
We have multiple contacts in our company. Can multiple accounts be setup for our company?
Yes. There will be one primary contact for each vendor. However, additional representatives may also be added upon request
What if I have forgotten my email password. How can I get my password reset?
Instructions on how to reset your password is located on our Training page. You may also call and request that your password be reset and a new password emailed to you
I am encountering errors while I am logging onto the City's Vendor Self Service system. Who should I contact?
For all errors, please contact us via Talgov. You will be forwarded instructions about how to proceed once we have resolved your issue.
What are the requirements for logging into the City's vendor self-service system?
Our vendor self-service application supports current releases of Internet Explorer, Safari and Mozilla.
How will I be notified that I have successfully been registered into the City's vendor self-service system?
You will receive an email that you have successfully been registered along with a user ID and temporary password that will require you to update upon your first sign on to the system
If I am not currently registered as a City vendor, how can I register?
To become a vendor with the City of Tallahassee, you will first need to be conducting business with the City of Tallahassee. The user department will provide you with a vendor application along with a W-9 form which is required by the Internal Revenue Service. Once that application has been completed, you will be notified that you are an approved vendor which includes your use of this vendor self-service system
