Fire Destroys Stinky's Fish Camp on Mahan Drive

Early this morning, Tallahassee Firefighters responded to the Cross Creek Restaurant in the 6700 Block of Mahan Drive. The call came in around 2:45 this morning and sent firefighters into the restaurant that was filled with smoke and flames. Firefighters battled the elements inside the structure for over 20 minutes in an attempt to control the blaze, but were forced outside as the roof began to collapse. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the State Fire Marshal's Office and is listed as undetermined. No injuries were reported during the incident.
