Domestic Violence Ends in Stabbing

Last night, at approximately 6:15PM, the Tallahassee Police Department responded to a reported stabbing in the 2700 Block of Lake Henrietta Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim bleeding due to numerous stab wounds. The victim explained to officers that her husband stabbed her during an argument. During the attack the victim was holding her infant child. The child was not injured during the attack. According to the victim, as suddenly as the attack began, it ended and the suspect fled the scene on foot. The victim was transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening wounds.
The suspect has been identified as 44-year-old Johnny Edward Robinson. Robinson is listed as a fugitive from the Department of Corrections and has an extensive history of violence. Johnny Edward Robinson, B/M, 6-7-65, 5’10”, 150-160lbs, last seen wearing a gray “South Pole” shirt, gray “South Pole” shorts, gray shoes, and white socks.
