Black Cats to Cross Your Path at Furry Howl-o-Ween!
October 27
Animal Service Center Hosts Halloween Event Saturday Evening - It Howl-o-Ween! The public is invited to a family-friendly trick-or-treating event on Saturday, October 31, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Tallahassee-Leon Community Animal Service Center, 1125 Easterwood Drive, next to Tom Brown Park. Don't be a scaredy cat; those howls are just the dogs asking for you to join them for some old-fashioned Halloween fun.
Ghouls and boys alike will have a monster good time with face painting, hayrides, a spooky walk, photos and lots of trick-or-treating fun with the adoptable animals. Visitors can also pick up a free pet adoption coupon to be used on their next visit (valid through December 31, 2009).
The ASC is operated and maintained by the City's Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Affairs Department. For more information, contact the Animal Service Center at 891-2950 or visit Talgov.com/animals.
