SUBJECT/TITLE: Approval of Subdivision Plat – Habitat on Highlands Replat

STATEMENT OF ISSUE
The preliminary plat of Habitat on Highlands Replat subdivision was approved by the Development Review Committee on February 12, 2009. The subdivision, planned as single family residential, is being developed jointly by the Big Bend Habitat for Humanity, and the City of Tallahassee, both owners-in-fee-simple of the land being platted. The subdivision lies within the City limits. It is bounded on the north, east, and west by the Tallahassee Highlands Subdivision, recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 30, and on the south by Centerville Road. This two-lot subdivision contains 2.17 acres. There is no infrastructure associated with this subdivision. The existing road is to be re-dedicated to the perpetual use of the public. The plat is in compliance with City and State law requirements.

RECOMMENDED ACTION
Approve the Habitat on Highland Replat subdivision plat.

FISCAL IMPACT
There are no annual recurring maintenance costs associated with this subdivision.
