- Responsible Pet Ownership Class - Want to learn more about caring for your pet? Attend an upcoming Responsible Pet Ownership Class. The course is sponsored by Pets Ad Litem, a local animal advocacy group, and is a free, three-hour information program designed to help pet owners learn how to properly care for their animals and to increase awareness of the local laws governing animal care and treatment. The course covers a wide variety of topics including veterinary care, traveling safely with your pet, shelter, nutrition, humane tethering and more.
