Fall Fun On Tap at the Tallahassee Senior Center
Annual Brats & Brews Event to be Held on Nov. 2
October 30, 2018
Toast the fall season with the third annual Brats & Brews: German Beer Garden and Artisan Market. Hosted by the City of Tallahassee’s Senior Services division, this annual event celebrates autumn, while looking forward to the holidays. Inspired by the German culture, Brats & Brews features food, drinks and handmade crafts by local artists and vendors. The event takes place on Friday, Nov. 2, from 3-9 p.m. at the Tallahassee Senior Center, located at 1400 N. Monroe St.
As participants peruse the Artisan Market picking up holiday gifts for friends and family members, artful music performed by David Carty will set the evening’s tone. Admission into the market is free; German-inspired food is available for purchase.
At 5 p.m., participants will get a special treat as the beer garden opens. Coupled with themed foods like bratwurst, schnitzel and Bavarian pretzels, the garden will feature beer from local breweries, including DEEP Brewing Company and Lake Tribe Brewing Company. To access the beer garden, participants must purchase a ticket and be 21 years of age or older. Tickets are $15 for three drinks or $25 for unlimited drinks. The beer garden closes promptly at 9 p.m.
