A Frenzy of Fabulous Felines at Tallahassee Mall
ASC Hosts Cat and Kitten Adoption Event on Saturday
May 29, 2013
This Saturday, the Tallahassee-Leon Community Animal Service Center (ASC), in partnership with the Leon County Humane Society and Be the Solution Inc., will be hosting a Feline Frenzy adoption event at the Tallahassee Mall. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the retail space located across from the AMC Theatres.
This feline exclusive event, made possible by a grant from the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), will feature more than 75 cats and kittens in need of forever homes. It's the purr-fect time to find a furry new friend to join your family!
Adoption fees will be $20 per animal, and the first 70 families to adopt will also receive a free "Pet Pack," including a cat carrier. Every adopted cat will be provided with a collar and ID tag free of charge. All cats will be spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated and microcipped. Discounted spay/neuter vouchers from Be the Solution Inc. will also be available for people with other cats at home.
ASC staff, foster families and volunteers will be on-site to answer questions about temperaments and personalities to help you find a feline to fit your family purr-fectly.
Potential adopters should bring with them a government-issued photo ID and proof of address.
The ASC, located at 1125 Easterwood Drive, is operated and maintained by the City's Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Affairs Department.
