TPD Arrests Three People and Seizes Several Firearms

On Wednesday night, June 19, 2019 at 11:12 p.m., the Tallahassee Police Department responded to a call at 1600 Old Bainbridge Road (Aqua Palms Apartments) regarding an aggravated assault involving firearms and several suspects. When officers arrived, they located the victim and canvassed the area, enabling them to locate the suspects in an apartment within the complex. A thorough investigation was conducted and three people were detained after a firearm was located. Responding officers ensured the safety of surrounding residents and fortunately no one was seriously injured during the incident.
Investigators from the Violent Crimes Unit arrived to assist in the investigation. A search warrant was obtained and completed on an apartment within the complex. During the investigation, four firearms and ammunition were seized along with over 90 grams of cannabis, numerous digital scales and packaging items used in the sale of drugs. The firearms seized by TPD included a 9mm handgun previously reported stolen to TPD during a residential burglary in August 2018, a 9mm handgun previously reported stolen to the Pembroke Pines (FL) Police Department, a .380 caliber handgun and a .22 caliber rifle.
TPD arrested Keevonte Baker, Frank Robins and Hardson Francois during the incident. They were transported to the Leon County Detention Facility for processing. Tampering with Evidence pursuant to Florida Statute 918.13.
